ART REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDELINES FOR CUSTOM PLAYING CARDS

Please read the following guidelines for sending digital art to us. This will avoid delays in the manufacturing process. After that, you can e-mail us your art at customercare@myplayingcards.com.

All orders placed with myplayingcards.com includ 1 free hour of graphic services for light art cleanup and typeset. We also offer graphic design services at $40/hour that can be used no matter if you are buying our cards or not.

We accept computer-generated artwork Mac and PC formatted. Software programs accepted are Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, Quark Xpress and Adobe PageMaker.

If you are working with a PC you need to do go through a two step process before sending us your files.

1. First, select all your fonts and convert them to outlines.

2. Save (or export) the page as a PDF or EPS file. If you have any questions about PC files, contact us at customercare@myplayingcards.com. For PDF files, be sure that the distiller settings is set to "Press Settings".

P.S. Even if you create a PDF file from a PC file, be sure to convert your fonts to outline BEFORE exporting the file as a PDF or EPS. Otherwise the file will contain PC fonts which are unusable in our system.

Specify the program and version used to create artwork, any special fonts with graphics, fonts should be included on disk and with files, or convert all fonts to outlines (best choice for problem free files).

Specify any PMS (i.e. spot) colors. 4/C process files must be sent as CMYK files with a resolution of 300 dpi and a match print must also be included with disk or one will be generated for color approval (no process jobs can be run without contract proof.)
